ICE AND ROCK CLIMBING COURSE
AT
THE NATIONAL PARK OF CONDORIRI (6 days)
Every year, our reputation is more acknowledged by mountain clubs and institutions that deal with mountaineering in Bolivia and in South America. we have a large group of professional guides which were trained in ENSA school in France; these guides are part of UIAGM (International Union of Mountain Guides), and of AGMTB (Association of Mountain and Trekking Guides of Bolivia) Besides, they have a lot of experience to use in any ice and snow climbing course.
We have chosen the national park of Condoriri because it is an area with a group of snow-covered mountains over 5000 m. In this mountain range the most important are Condor Head (5.670 m of altitude), and Small Alpamayo (5.350 m of altitude) In its surroundings there are glacier lagoons surrounded by fragments of old glaciers. Gulches, with a lot of straw, that end up in green lagoons full of trouts. An interesting ecology made up of llamas, alpacas, condors, vizcachas, etc. and altitude flora.
Condoriri massif is the place for our natural school because glaciers offer a great diversity of natural obstacles adequate for our purpose. Furthermore, summits are very close to our base camp and that fact allows us to move quickly.
* The development of the course is entirely practical in order to guarantee participants have a knowledge of the safest and most updated systems.
