El desierto de Sud Lípez se encuentra al Sud Oeste del departamento de Potosí a una altitud media de 4.000m donde los vientos a veces muy violentos son frecuentes en esta región. La temperatura promedio tomada del día 21 C y la noche es de – 5 C. El desierto del Tibet ha sido comparado a este, pero los salares de Coipasa y sobre el de Uyuni (el Salar mas grande y mas alto del mundo) con así 13.000 km2. podemos decir que este desierto es incomparable. Pues todo este circuito que vamos a recorrer es una fantástica secuencia de desiertos, rodeada de volcanes apagados matizada de lagunas multicolores, donde podemos admirar la fauna acuática excepcional (flamencos rosados y blancos, gansos, patos, etc.). En esta región desértica y volcánica podemos observar fumarolas, solfatares, geisers, y yacimientos de azufre. Veremos también otra fauna como: viscachas, suris, vicuñas y otros. La población humana es prácticamente inexistente, pero la región es rica en vestigios arqueológicos de un pasado bastante remoto.
En las regulares caminatas cortas por las ásperas rocas volcánicas y las arenas del desierto podremos descubrir restos de construcciones antiguas pertenecientes a culturas Pre tiwanakotas.
PROGRAMA
Día 01: Comenzamos el tour a hrs. 10:30 a.m. aprox. en transporte exclusivo; atravesando el salar de Uyuni, visitando Colchani, artesanias de Sal, montones de sal, hotel de sal, Ojos de Sal, Isla del Pescado , el cuál tiene única variedad de flora y fauna (cactus gigantes, pequeños pájaros, vizcachas, etc.) luego continuamos hasta la población de San Juan (3.800 m.) Actividad total de 7 horas de viaje. Noche en alojamiento local.
Día 02: Temprano por la mañana viaje con rumbo al mirador Volcan Ollague, atravesando las Lagunas Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkhota, Honda y Ramaditas. Desierto Siloli, el Árbol de Piedra, hasta arribar a Laguna Colorada (4.200 mts.) aprox., noche en alojamiento local.
Día 03: Muy temprano por la mañana Hrs. 05 :30 a.m. salida hacia Sol de Mañana, Geysers donde observaran las fumarolas, atravesando la zona desértica Rocas Salvador Dali y nos dirigimos hacia laguna Verde, a partir de la 10 :30 a.m. se puede apreciar el cambio del color de la laguna y al mismo tiempo el volcán Licancabur. Luego viaje hacia la población de Villa Alota atravesando el Valle de las Rocas., noche en alojamiento local.
Día 04: Después del desayuno, viaje de retorno hacia la población de Uyuni, paradas en San Cristobal y Cementerio de trene, arribo a Uyuni Hrs. 13.00.

DAY 09: Excursion to the Valley of the Moon . Night camping.
DAY 10: Visit to the archaeological site of Pukara, the on to the Tatio Geysers. Night camping.
DAY 11: Long journey on to the lower slopes of San Pablo Volcano (6.118 Mts above sea level) Night camping.
DAY 12: Lourney through the Ascotan Salt flat (3.966 Mts above sea level) to the village of “Ollague”, arrive to the unload station (4.000 Mts above sea level), Night camping.
DAY 13: Go up with vehicle transport on to (5.800 Mts. Above sea level) and acsente to the Summit of the Aucanquilcha volcano at (6.200 Mts above sea level) descent to the unload station, camping.
DAY 14: Long journey through Ollague (3.695 Mts above sea level) arrive to the village of Jirira (3.900 Mts above sea level), camping nerarby.
DAY 15: Trip: Jirira – lower slopes of Thunupa volcano – Salina Garcy de Mendoza; arrive to the Lake Popoo at night camping.
DAY 16: Long return journey to La Paz, Hotel
